When you reserve a room by email or phone, you're reserving by category, not by room number or room type. There's often different types of rooms in each category, as you can see below. If you want a specific room please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs, but we can't guarantee that this will always be possible. If you're staying monthly however, you can definitely choose a specific room before you get here (Check out our monthly accommodations section for more info).

These rooms are all basically the same, with some minor variations depending on which floor they're on. The floorplan below is common to all the rooms described on this page.


Room dimensions: 11.5 x 6 feet, 3.5 x 1.8 meters.
Room area: 69 square feet, 6.3 square meters.
  • 14a is right next door to the tv room, which can be noisy. 34a and 44a are dead quiet, with no sources of noise
  • these rooms are very small. See dimensions and floor plan before reserving
  • Bathroom nearby, shared with 1 to 3 other rooms, five other bathrooms on each floor. About our Bathrooms.
  • One west-facing window looks into the lightcourt behind the building and gets light during the evenings.
  • 14a gets a view of a brick wall, 34a gets a nice view of surrounding rooftops, and 44a actually gets nice views of the cityscape
